I am a recent graduate of Cortiva Institute-School of Massage Therapy-Crystal Lake. I am eager to use my education to help others realize the benefits of massage and how therapeutic it can be to their lives.

I have training in several modalities that can be customized to meet the needs of each client. My goal is to help each client achieve peace, balance and harmony in today’s hectic and stress-filled world.

Types of Massage (Modalities):

SWEDISH: One of the most commonly taught and well-known massage techniques, Swedish massage is a vigorous system of treatment designed to energize the body by stimulating circulation. Five basic strokes, all flowing toward the heart, are used to manipulate the soft tissues of the body. Also known as Relaxation or Western Massage.

DEEP TISSUE: Techniques that utilize deep-tissue/deep-muscle massage are administered to affect the sub-layer of musculature and fascia. It helps with chronic muscular pain and injury rehabilitation and reduces inflammation-related pain caused by arthritis and tendinitis.

TRIGGER POINT THERAPY: Involves deactivating trigger points that may cause local pain or refer pain and other sensations, such as headaches, in other parts of the body.

SPORTS MASSAGE: Sports massage is designed to enhance athletic performance and recovery.

MYO–FASCIAL RELEASE: Myo-fascial release is the three-dimensional application of sustained pressure and movement into the fascial system in order to eliminate fascial restrictions. Myo-fascial release is an effective therapeutic approach in the relief of cervical pain, back pain, fibromyalgia, scoliosis, neurological dysfunction, restriction of motion, chronic pain, and headaches.

COMBINATION MASSAGE: A one hour Swedish massage, combined with any of the other four modalities listed above.

Massage Rates:

30 Minutes - $40
60 minutes - $75
90 minutes - $110
120 minutes - $150
Combination Massage - $105.00
